"Legal holiday" shall include

JULY 4TH

November 11TH (prior to 11AM),

and Christmas Day, or the day following when any of said days occurs on Sunday, and the

last Monday in May, 

bullet

first Monday in September, 

bullet

the second Monday in October (prior to 12 noon), 

bullet

and Thanksgiving Day. 

"Legal holiday" shall also include, with respect to Suffolk county only, June seventeenth or the day following when said day occur on Sunday

EXCEPTIONS TO HOLIDAY BLUE LAW

The work restrictions of Ch 136 do not apply to the following holidays:
