Dr. Ed Costa came to East Longmeadow Public Schools in July of 1998. Previously,
Dr. Costa has served as a public school administrator in
Dr. Costa began his teaching career as a band director and was director
of instrumental music for Purcell Public Schools in
In addition to being a band director, Dr. Costa has taught computer literacy in grades 6-12 and in adult education in the evenings.
Dr. Costa's philosophy of education for students and staff is based on the three R's: Respect, Responsibility and Readiness!
