- June Create a thirty minute per week block from the void
created by the elimination of the health education program. Target this time for math, especially
number sense and critical thinking.
This generates over 18 hours of additional math instruction per year.
Documentation will be presented in teaching schedules and lesson plans. Compare the numbers to those prior to realignment.

- June Swap one shorter math block for one longer language
arts block in grades 3 and 4. This
will increase the minutes per week that math is being taught in grades 3
and 4. This will be documented through teaching schedules.
