East Longmeadow Community Preservation Committee

Minutes January 17, 2007

Present: Timothy Seeley, Chair (At-Large), William Speight (Historical Commission), Carol Johnston (Housing Authority), , Michael Perkins (Board of Public Works),  Michael Salvon (Recreation Commission), William Fonseca (At-Large)

Absent: George Kingston (Conservation Commission), Louis Calabrese (Planning Board)

Chairman Seeley called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

The public hearing was postponed to March 7, 2007.  It was not posted by Nick Breault.

Mr. Speight discussed the priorities of the Historical Commission.  The Train Station probably cannot stay in its current place, according to Jay Lefebre, the landowner.  The Old Fire Station where the Jaycees meet is in need of maintenance.  The Little Red Schoolhouse.

Mr. Perkins stated that the Selectmen should put monies into projects.  The need budget line items for maintenance.  Pineknoll could come under Recreation.

The meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm.
