Dear Incoming Third Graders, Parents, and Guardians,
Welcome to 3rd grade! While you are shopping this summer, here is a checklist of the items that we will be using in the classroom throughout the year. Make sure to bring them with you the first day of school.
v Crayons – 24 pack
v Colored pencils-12 pack
v Markers – 12 pack
v Glue sticks – at least 12
v # 2 Pencils – 1 package - SHARPENED
v Soft pencil pouch
v Box of Kleenex
v A nutritious snack for our daily snack time.
During the school year supplies will need to be replenished. If any supplies are needed we will let you know.
We are looking forward to seeing you in August. Have a safe and happy summer.
Here are some suggested activities that you can do over the summer so you are better prepared for grade 3.
ü Read 20 minutes a day
ü Keep a journal of vacations or daily activities
ü Send postcards to former classmates
Practice basic addition and subtraction math facts to 20 (You should know these facts as fast as you can say your name.)

Dear Fourth Grade Students, Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to fourth grade. We look forward to meeting you in September. The following supplies will be essential for your child to bring with her/him when school opens in the fall.
1. Pair of scissors (Fiskars preferred)
2. Glue sticks (2)
3. Five folders with pockets
4. Several sharpened pencils (throughout the year)
5. Eight-pack of thin magic markers
6. Crayons-24 pack maximum or colored pencils
7. One box of facial tissues
8. Eraser
9. 2 colored pens for correcting
10. soft pencil pouch or large zip-lock bag (no plastic boxes)
*Please no Trapper Keepers or 3 ring binders.
By the end of the summer, students are expected to know addition and subtraction facts through 20 and multiplication facts through the ten’s tables (10 x 10). Students should read at least three chapter books. Suggestions on reading material are available at the local library or bookstore. Have a wonderful summer!

Dear Incoming Fifth Graders, Parents and Guardians,
We are
looking forward to working with your child and you during the next school year
to make it an enjoyable and productive year. We welcome your questions and
comments throughout the next year.
We are hopeful that the educational experiences provided next
year will foster an enthusiasm for learning, and help your child further
develop organizational and communication skills.
We thought that it might be helpful for you to have a list of
the supplies your child will find useful for his or her work in fifth grade.

It would be helpful if the students brought these supplies to school as soon as possible. In addition, each classroom teacher will request supplies unique to their classrooms, such as folders, trapper keepers, etc., be purchased during the first week of school.
