NEWS RELEASE:

This is to announce that the Board of Selectmen is seeking interested Town residents to serve on the East Longmeadow Cable Advisory Committee. The responsibilities of this Committee include informing and educating the Board of Selectmen about cable television service; assess the cable needs of the community and recommend policy changes; conduct regular meetings with cable company representatives to discuss matters of mutual interest; report to the Selectmen on company compliance with the license; supervise the company’s response to complaints and respond to citizen’s questions regarding the cable system; and keep abreast of community programming issues.
