SELECTMEN SET PROCESS FOR FILLING SCHOOL COMMITTEE VACANCY

 

(East Longmeadow, MA) The East Longmeadow Board of Selectmen met last evening to discuss the recent resignation of Thomas Mazza from the East Longmeadow School Committee effective August 19, 2004.

 

In accordance with Massachusetts General Law (MGL 41, Section 11 (81A), the Board of Selectmen have determined that they will join with the remaining members of the East Longmeadow School Committee to find a replacement to perform the duties until the next town election.  As a result, the Board of Selectmen will be accepting letters of interest/resumes from registered voters in the Town to fill the position of School Committee Member until the next Town Election.
