REGIONAL BOARDS OF SELECTMEN MEETING ANNOUNCED

The East Longmeadow Board of Selectmen announced today that the next meeting of the Regional Boards of Selectmen will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the training room of the East Longmeadow Fire Department, 150 Somers Road.

Members of the Boards of Selectmen from the towns of East Longmeadow, Longmeadow, Hampden, Wilbraham and Ludlow will meet to discuss regional issues. Members of the local legislative delegation or their designees will also attend.

“It’s important for local Boards of Selectmen to maintain communication. Many challenges that we are faced with on a local level are often experienced regionally. Exchanging ideas on how to address these challenges can only help Boards better serve their communities,” said John Claffey, Chairman of the East Longmeadow Board of Selectmen.
