The Board of Selectmen announced today that it has set a date for a Special Town Meeting. The Special Town Meeting will be Monday, August 15, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the East Longmeadow High School Auditorium. The Board set the meeting as required because it received a citizens’ petition relative to the new waste reduction program.
The deadline to
submit additional petition items for consideration as Warrant Articles for this
meeting is Friday, July 22, 2005 at 12:00 o’clock noon. Petitions must be submitted to the Board of
Selectmen’s Office,
