TRASH PICKUP DELAYED DUE TO WEATHER
Residents are advised that trash pick up will be delayed by one day this week due to the weather. Trash pick up will run Tuesday through Saturday, January 24-28. Monday pick up will be on Tuesday, Tuesday pickup on Wednesday, etc. Friday pick up will be on Saturday. This schedule is for trash and recyclables. This is a commingled container recycle week in East Longmeadow.
Central Mass Disposal began Monday pick up but made the decision to delay the schedule by one day at approximately 10:00 a.m. Pick up has likewise been delayed in other communities served by the company. Residents with questions regarding their pick up should call Central Mass Disposal at 1-800-352-3255, or the Board of Selectmen’s Office at 413-525-5400 ext. 420.
