TRASH SCHEDULE JULY 3-8, 2006
Residents are advised that trash pickup will follow the holiday schedule for the upcoming Independence Day Holiday, Tuesday, July 4, 2006. Monday trash pickup will be on Monday. There will be no trash pickup on Tuesday, Independence Day. Tuesday trash pickup will be delayed to Wednesday. Wednesday pickup will be on Thursday, and so on through the week. Friday pickup will be on Saturday, July 8. Recycling pickup will follow the same schedule as the trash. This will be a paper recycling week.
The new recycling calendar will be mailed to residents beginning June 23, 2006. Copies will also be available in the Board of Selectmen’s Office, the Library and the Council on Aging beginning Monday, June 26.
Residents are reminded to put their trash and recyclables out no later than 7:00 a.m. and to leave them out until picked up or 6:00 p.m. In the event that trash has not been picked up by 6:00 p.m. due to poor weather, etc., residents should leave or put their trash out for pickup the next day by 7:00 a.m. Residents that have questions about their pickup should call Central Mass Disposal at 1-800-352-3255, or the Board of Selectmen’s Office at 525-5400 extension 420.
