Cultural Affairs Council Members Sought

 

            The Board of Selectmen announces that it is seeking residents to fill three seats on the Cultural Affairs Council.  The Cultural Affairs Council promotes cultural and artistic opportunities in East Longmeadow, oversees activities at the Little Red School House, and manages and distributes grant funding provided by the Massachusetts Cultural Council in support of local cultural and artistic endeavors.

 

            The Cultural Affairs Council recently asked the Board of Selectmen to consider expanding its membership.  The three seats now available will be appointed by the Board of Selectmen for three year terms.  Members may serve on the Cultural Affairs Council for no more than two consecutive three-year terms.

 

            Residents interested in serving on the Cultural Affairs Council are encouraged to send a letter of interest and resume to:  Nick Breault, Executive Secretary, c/o Board of Selectmen, 60 Center Square, East Longmeadow, MA 01028.  Email submissions may be sent to:  nbreault@eastlongmeadow.org
