SPECIAL TOWN MEETING ANNOUNCED______________________

The Board of Selectmen announced today that it has set a date for a Special Town Meeting. The Special Town Meeting will be Monday, October 15, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the East Longmeadow High School Auditorium.

The deadline to submit petitions for consideration as Warrant Articles for this meeting is Friday, August 31, 2007 at 12:00 o’clock noon. Petitions must be submitted to the Board of Selectmen’s Office in East Longmeadow Town Hall, 60 Center Square,

East Longmeadow, MA 01028. Petitioned Articles must include the signatures of at least 100 registered voters. Petition forms are available in the Town Clerk’s Office in

Town Hall.
