To Board of Health

 

As your Health Agent, I have a wide range of responsibilities in serving the Town.  This includes mandatory inspections of all licensed facilities and operations, including all schools.  In the year 2005, as Boards of Health participated in trainings and seminars funded by the Homeland Security Act relative to preparation for acts of terrorism; I expect this to continue for  years.  We received a significant amount of funding through our membership in The Hampden County Health Coalition.

 

I have been your Agent since 1982.  I take my responsibility very seriously in order to promote and provide a healthy East Longmeadow community.

 

Thanks to the Board for its vital and necessary support.  This includes the Executive Secretary, the efficient and helpful office staff to whom I communicate with almost daily.
